AND partnership board self-evaluation

Surrey Additional Needs and Disability (AND) Engagement Partnership

In Surrey, the Additional Needs and Disabilities (AND) Partnership Board is the governance mechanism for partnership accountability.

The AND Partnership Board meets every half term, and the membership includes representatives across Education, Health, Social Care as well as our third sector and user voice partners. For more information about the membership of the partnership board, see the list of AND Engagement Partnership members.

The AND Partnership Board exercises partnership accountability for the delivery of the Surrey Inclusion and Additional Needs Partnership Strategy (2023 to 2026).

As part of this objective, the AND Partnership Board produces a twice-yearly Self-evaluation report.

Self-evaluation document

The self-evaluation is a document that is co-produced with partners to assess "how effective are we as a local area partnership in improving the experiences and outcomes of children and young people with additional needs".

It captures the strengths across the partnership, impact and evidence and areas for development and priorities for the year. The self-evaluation is refreshed periodically to show emerging strengths or areas for development. It is a way of demonstrating how well we know ourselves, and where we need to focus our attention at improving the experiences of children, young people and their families with additional needs and disabilities.
